Call for Applications: Call for Applications 2026 Young African Self-Identity Program (YASIP)

This is your opportunity to join the 2026 Young African Self-Identity Program (YASIP) cohort.

Applications are now open to passionate young people across Africa, aged 15–25, who are ready to grow, lead, and develop a strong sense of identity and purpose.

Why YASIP?

The Young African Self-Identity Program (YASIP) is an initiative of UWA-Robinson Teen Mentoring Academy, an organization dedicated to addressing young people’s self-identity challenges through practical, relevant, and innovative mentoring solutions.

The 2026 YASIP edition will feature an intensive 5-day online mentoring and training program designed to help selected participants build a strong sense of self-identity, confidence, and leadership capacity.

Following the training, each participant will be paired with an experienced mentor for three (3) months, ensuring continued guidance, accountability, and personal development beyond the program.

Eligibility CriteriaApplicants must:

1. Be between 15 and 25 years old

2. Be a citizen of any African country

3. Be able to communicate effectively in English

4. Demonstrate passion for leadership and positive impact in Africa

5. Be fully available for the 5-day intensive online training

6. Commit to 3 months of online mentorship after the training

7. Have access to stable internet

8. Own or have access to an internet-enabled device (Android phone, iPhone, laptop, desktop, or Mac)

How to Apply: Interested candidates should follow the application link and complete the online form.

All applications will be carefully reviewed, and pre-selected applicants will be notified by the end of the first week of May 2026, followed by the final screening to the determine the final successful applicants.
